Great American’s AgriBusiness® Division has been insuring farm and ranch operations for 100 years. We specialize in providing coverage for full-time operating farms and ranches and agricultural operations on a nationwide basis. We operate through independent agents who specialize in the rural market and have been selected for their underwriting and marketing expertise in supporting the rural customer.

Our products and programs are known in the industry for coverage and flexibility. Our product line includes a farm/ranch package (AgriPak®), auto and umbrella (AgriGuard®), and a specialized agricultural package product (AgriPro®) for commercial agricultural operations. Great American's AgriBusiness® Division is staffed with experts in farm underwriting, claims, and policyholder services. The Division has two primary underwriting operations, the Farm Center is located in Cincinnati, Ohio and the Equine Farm Center is located in Ocala, Florida.

The Farm Center offers specialized programs and coverages for dairy farms (DairyPak®), seed merchants, hog confinement operations and vegetable farms.  Through the variety of insurance products available, we are able to meet the risk management needs of the wide range of agricultural operations.

Through professional equine independent agents, our Equine Farm Center offers a full line of property and casualty products for the equine community. We also offer mono-line property and liability, care, custody and control, umbrella and auto insurance to the horse farm community. Specialized coverages for individual horse owners, race horse owners and riding clubs are available.

The Equine Farm Center and Great American's Equine Mortality Division share the title sponsorship of the Regional Championships of the United States Dressage Federation (USDF).  USDF is a Lexington-based organization with 33,000 members nationwide. Nearly 1,800 riders qualify for the regional championships.
